Voice Fellowship – Sunday, September 19

When Jesus speaks to us, it's always to prepare us in the seasons in which we live. Jesus wants his people prepared with right understanding. At the core of the heart of the Voice Ministries leadership is that we want our Voice family to be prepared spiritually. We have said many times that we want to be a people of understanding to bring understanding to others, especially regarding the times in which we're living.

The wisdom of Jesus brings forth confidence within his people so that:
• We are not manipulated or swept away by the wisdom of man, but fully rooted and grounded in the love and the knowledge of God.
• We would be a people of courage and not live in fear.
• We would be a part of the solution and not a part of the confusion.

Join me this Sunday with our Voice family to once again unpack Matthew 24. It is a prophetic chapter of preparedness. I pray, by the help of the Holy Spirit, to discover even more of what Jesus is saying to us.

Looking forward to seeing you at 10:30 this Sunday morning as Bob Deering brings a message entitled, "Jesus: The Good Shepherd." Rick Thompson and the team will be leading us in worship.

Children's ministry is available for infants - 6th grade.

We will also be streaming live on Facebook and the Voice website beginning at 10:30am.

“Trust not what your eyes see, lest you be deceived.”
Christie Moore, IHOP-Michiana

“Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”

More days than not our plans are changed by circumstances beyond our control. From car trouble, house repairs and traffic jams, to natural disasters, unexpected illness or a friend in urgent need/emergency. The question is: Can we trust that God is in those unforeseen challenges? The automatic answer may be yes, but dig deeper... it is out of your control; do you TRUST Him, that He is in it? I am not saying that God chooses, orchestrates, and causes us to be in sickness or pain. I am asking Holy Spirit to help me dig deeper into Romans 8:28 and His Word in its’ entirety. He does not lie, He is the same yesterday today and forever, and He works all things for our good. In this sense, if we are looking for the victory God is wanting to give us, He WILL be IN these circumstances and at work.

A rarely read verse in Exodus (13:17) tells how God led the newly freed Hebrew nation into the Sinai Desert instead of along the southeast coast of the Mediterranean Sea into the Promised Land. Why? The southwest coast was so close and a direct route. Why would God ever lead them into hardship? Hmmm, perhaps because that wasn’t the vantage point He had. Why? ...so that, even though the Hebrews grumbled loud and long about the Sinai sand, sun, the lack of good food and water, and all the hardships of the desert...they were alive. If they had met the Philistines unprepared without a trained army, many of would have been slaughtered, and many of the rest would have ran back to slavery in Egypt for the “comforts” it provided (Exodus 16). God was answering their prayers and delivering His people. He was delivering a nation. And although His perspective was the whole (not just what they could see), He still lovingly delivered dinner when they stopped grumbling long enough to ask. Oh Holy Spirit, forgive me for when my default has been to complain first.

As my path is changed unexpectedly, may I trust by faith that God is in it and see from His perspective (Romans 8:28)

Christie — the greatest growth has come in the times when you COULDN'T do anything, had to turn to Him, and had to trust Him completely; the greatest revelations came from the times when you were physically unable to do anything, were still and listening. Trust not your eyes in these times, lest you be deceived. Reflect on these things, dig deeper.

The Warrior is a Lover, by Deanna Deering
Know that the ultimate warrior is also the consummate lover.

It is right for you to take time just to be with Him; after all, He created you for Himself, and He created you for love.

Your heart is truly that of a warrior, for you see the work that needs to be done. He is pleased with you, for you have not shrunk back. You are determined to answer His call to set the captives free. You have stood firm in the attacks sent against you. You have grown in wisdom, discernment, and knowledge of the enemy’s tactics.

But know that His most courageous warrior is also created for love. There are times when you must lay down your weapons and simply sit at His feet and allow His love to wash over you, pour into every wounded fiber of your being, and heal you.

You are His beloved. “I am my lover’s and my lover is mine.” (See Song of Solomon 6:3). Do you know what it means to be “His” —uniquely and specifically “His”? Know that the ultimate warrior is also the consummate lover. He is compelled to war because of love, and he is driven to love because of the war.

He longs for you to simply adore Him … to kiss His feet … to come to Him for no reason other than to come to Him. “For love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave.” (Song of Solomon 8:6, NIV). He is jealous for you. In heaven, we will be found worshipping Him without end. Come, worship Him right now!

Voice Fellowship – Sunday, September 12

In a time in which the information that we can receive overloads us and at times can totally overwhelm us, our pursuit of truth is critical. Jesus said to take His yoke upon us and learn directly from Him. Beneath all the opinions, all the controversy, and all the different beliefs systems, there’s a place where we can all drawn to the Lord and learn power and authority and leadership from Him.

Looking forward to seeing you at 10:30 this Sunday morning as David Ramer brings a message entitled, "Being Yoked with Jesus." Rick Thompson and the team will be leading us in worship.

Notes from the House of Prayer, Christie Moore

As I prayed for direction going into our Thursday team, I felt to play specific songs about worship in the waiting, prayer in the pressing through, and the intimacy that happens in the waiting during times of struggle. The team quickly felt confirmation and agreement. As we played these songs, (instead of being on the live team team as we usually are) that obedience to what we were feeling in the spirit allowed us to pace the room and really war in intercession as He was asking for today. The room began to fill with others coming to pray and worship together. It was a powerful time of pressing through together, lifting up those that are struggling, and standing together in unison. We ended our last half hour, as usual, focused on healing. In this time, when so many seem to be under attack in their bodies, in their immune systems; we press in and contend for healing. It was such a beautiful time of standing together in His glory and proclaiming victory. The Beautiful Creator created us in His image and our bodies have this amazing system, our immune system, that is constantly healing — cells constantly regenerating. With so many under attack in this specific system, with auto-immune disease showing up everywhere, inflammation, and arthritis...it just seems like a “Hail Mary” (football reference) reaction from the enemy. We must be on the cusp of a great move of healing! It’s just too much from the enemy right now to not think it is a great effort of the enemy to discourage. As our Denny Rogers says, (our days are numbered by our Father) the enemy can’t just take us out, so he tries to get you to quit. So we targeted that discouragement. We lifted up the Bride of Christ, our leadership, and our brothers and sisters to be strengthened in faith and held by the Holy Spirit. We press back — not just for healing but for ground GAINED and then OCCUPIED by the Bride. Not just healing — but ground GAINED and then OCCUPIED by the Bride. What a glorious morning! Thank you Father for Your faithfulness, thank you Jesus for Your love, and thank you Holy Spirit for Your companionship and your guidance through these days. Oh how we love You!

TRUST.... Deanna Deering
In times of turmoil, what comes naturally to you?

“This is what the Lord says: ‘Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:5-8).

Blessed are you who trust in the Lord. Cursed are you who trust in man, who depend upon yourself for strength. Beware of this warning; attend to this promise.

Are you bothered or worried by what lies ahead? Does the threat of tribulation or the end of your present comfort shake your peace? What does your armor look like? Who have you been relying upon for protection? His faithful promises are your armor and protection (Psalm 91:4). It is easy to claim His promises during good times, but times of testing will prove whether we really have staked our entire being and existence upon His faithfulness.

The life of Judah’s King Asa (2 Chronicles 16) depicts a man who once received blessings, but in the end was cursed. When Asa relied on the Lord, He delivered mighty armies with great numbers of chariots and horsemen into his hand. But when Asa made a treaty with the king of Aram to gain victory over Israel’s king, Basha, God removed His power. “You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.” (See 2 Chronicles 16:1-9.) I wonder what got into Asa’s head. Was he intimidated by King Basha’s aggression? Did he just want to maintain his position, and did what came naturally?

In times of turmoil, what comes naturally to you? Will you consistently rely upon the Lord? True, crises are invitations to release God’s awesome power, but God will only act for those who trust in His name alone, and rely only on Him.

SCRIPTURE
“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord.” (Isaiah 31:1)

“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness, and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.” (Luke 21:34)

Further References: Isaiah 12:2; Isaiah 50:10-11

Voice Fellowship – Sunday, September 5

Any type of suffering typically is viewed as an inconvenience, hindrance, or a set-back to our lives. In many ways, we try to avoid it and find ways to minimize it when it comes our way. In realty, suffering is actually essential to growth in our relationship with the Lord. Embracing suffering and looking to Him in the midst of it only purifies us and brings us closer to Jesus. When we welcome suffering for the sake of Christ, we are unstoppable and immovable; opening ourselves up to the highest level of joy there is — fellowship with the Lord in His suffering.

Looking forward to seeing you at 10:30 this Sunday morning as Robert Deering brings a message entitled, "The Joy of Suffering." Betsy Hulse and the team will be leading us in worship.

A Special Message from Bob Deering:
13 Fallen Soldiers and the Innocent Afghani People

My heart is so heavy for the fathers, mothers, and family members that are waking up this morning without their child. I join with all of you in prayer for the Holy Spirit to comfort them in the midst of great grieving.

I feel very strongly about what has taken place and I need to share. The fact is that this didn't have to happen and shouldn't have happened! I keep thinking, “Is this the leadership in our country that has allowed this to happen?” I keep thinking, “Is this the best that we can do to protect our soldiers and the innocent Afghan people that lost their lives that day.” I heard one of the most remarkable fathers speak last night about his fallen son, and he said, “I'm just a carpenter with no military background and I could see that they were being set up. They were being led into a trap — like a turkey shoot in the making.”

How heartbreaking to feel helpless when you see so much wrong taking place. The pain that these family members must be experiencing today; waking up to a world that their child is no longer a part of. I want to encourage each of you to pray for God-fearing men and women to rise up and to take positions of leadership across this nation. Pray for the men and women in leadership who are making decisions and putting our soldiers and our citizens in harm’s way. Pray their eyes would be opened because I do not believe they understand the brutality that will be released on innocent people by these terrorist groups, or they just don't care. I question, “Where is the accountability for those who've been elected to serve the people by the people?” Pray that America stands up and honors those who have died for us and for the sake of others.

We here at Voice Ministries are so proud of the men and women that stand up every day and serve our nation and for those who have served our nation. God bless our soldiers. God bless our police officers. God bless our firefighters and first responders. And God bless America.

Having been to Afghanistan in the service of our great country, I feel this pain deeply. Breaks my heart. Thank you for your words my brother.

People are finally starting to wake up. It breaks my ❤that often it takes horrible things to get peoples attention and motivate them to action and to speak up. My heart hurts for three people in the cross hairs, particularly our soldiers. Another bengazi!! And also for the Afghanistan civilians who trusted us

Yes amen,I'm just asking Jesus to touch our leaders hearts an convict them by his spirit!

Completely agree! Love you cuz!

My thoughts & prayers exactly! Thank you, Bob ❤️🙏❤️🙏

Voice Fellowship – Sunday, August 29

In a culture and society where so many struggle to find someone or something to put all of their trust in, it is crucial that we trust the Lord entirely, with every part of our being. Holding onto any form of false control will only hold us back from walking in the fullness of faith needed to stand and shine as His bride. Please join us Sunday as we lay everything at the feet of Jesus, releasing all control, giving no more room to worry, pride, or fear. Let’s enter into a greater measure of His rest, peace, joy, and power moving forward as a family of believers.

Looking forward to seeing you at 10:30 this Sunday morning as Robert Deering brings a message entitled, "He is Trustworthy." Rick Thompson and the team will be leading us in worship.

Intimate moments with Jesus, caught in a poem written by Denny Rogers from our Monday morning time of worship in the House of Prayer (9:30 - 11am).

Bursting Forth
The Bride of Jesus is bursting forth into her destiny.
She is filled with glory of her Bridegroom King,
Watching and praying for Jesus’ coming.
It’s a new day of serving our King.
Crying out, preparing, “make straight The way”
for King Jesus’ glorious return!

My heart and soul are bursting forth
With so much love for my Bridegroom Jesus!
I got joy deep down inside of me, overflowing.
Feeling my Bridegroom King right here beside me.
I’m feeling so soothed, relaxed, and loved as a bride
In the waiting for her Bridegroom King’s
Glorious day of His return.

Every time I think of how much my Bridegroom Jesus loves me,
I feel butterflies filling my stomach.
I go numb from head to toe
With so much love in waiting, watching, praying for
My wedding day to the Lamb of God,
My Bridegroom King Jesus.

All I have do is think of Jesus’ love for me
As my heart skips a beat with spiritual thoughts
Of the sight of angels ‘round King of Heaven’s Throne
Makes me want to dance while singing
A song of joy, hope, and love
Filled with fiery burning passionate love
For my Bridegroom Jesus!

Voice Fellowship – Sunday, August 22

Many times, as believers, we think more about the "going" and the "doing." There is nothing wrong with that, but our relationship can become almost like a employer and employee. At the end of the week, our hand is out for our paycheck from God. He desires so much more than that! He desires that we become one with Him. Jesus even prayed for this oneness in John 17. You see, the scripture is clear that Jesus desires to have a love relationship with us as Bridegroom and Bride; therefore, we are to flow together with Him as One. In this intimate relationship with God, He will reveal more and more of Himself to us and through us! This Sunday, may we go deeper into the understanding of Philippians 3:10 and the Song of Solomon. It is so necessary to have our lamps filled with oil and to live in the ready (Matthew 25).

Looking forward to seeing the family at 10:30 this Sunday morning as Bob Deering brings a message entitled, "That I May Know Him" Rick Thompson and the Team will be leading us in worship.
