Kingdom Culture in Action
Worship was awesome this morning at Voice17. It is a privilege to be able to stand with each other and praise the name of the Lord with our voices and the instruments. From the sound of the shofar to the beating of the drums to the waving of the flags, the name of the Lord was glorified today. Bryon Stamets and Bob Deering did a tag-team message that resounded and affirmed that we serve a God who is very present and approachable, and that His glory fills the earth. The veil torn in two when Jesus was crucified opened the access to the Father for the first time. Many came forward for prayer and the moving of the spirit of the Lord was evident in the room.
Down in the Mighty Warrior's Arena (that's our Children's Equipping Ministry), things were jumping (quite literally!) as the Ignite (that's our youth group) worship team led worship for the Warriors for the first time. Led by Rick Thompson, the Ignite team has been practicing and leading worship for Ignite during the past couple weeks and now have been given the opportunity to lead for the Warriors on Sundays. After worship in the main auditorium and Arena was done, all of the youth met in the Foundry (our youth room) for a time of intensive study and prayer together.
The prior week was also busy as hundreds of people, once again, came to the Joseph Storehouse for food for the body but were also given food for the spirit. They have the opportunity to soak in the House of Prayer during some amazing times of worship, and many times our team of pastors has the opportunity to pray for and share with many people in need of physical and inner healing.
God is good and continues to bless this ministry. Please pray for the sale of our other facility (The Forerunner Center) so that we can continue to move forward in the vision to which God has called us – to be a true frontline kingdom culture operating in the marketplace. We pray that will be be an oasis of service, hope and refreshment.
