In the second chapter of Acts, we read, “The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to sharing in meals (communion), and to prayer…. The believers met together in one place and shared everything they had … all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. Each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”
Acts2Groups are Voice’s home groups and we seek to live out the model displayed by the early church. Each week we gather together in a more personal setting at each other’s homes. Our hope is that these times of gathering together will produce a greater desire to fall deeper in love with Christ.
Things you can expect in a small group:
- A time of fellowship — getting to know each other and become family.
- Going deeper into the messages from the previous Sunday through reflective questions and conversation.
- An emphasis on prayer and worship — allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us according to what He wants to do. Every time.
- A place of safety — come as you are, knowing that you will be loved and have others to walk with you in your pursuit of Christ.
One body, faithfully devoted to the teachings of Christ; gathering weekly for prayer and worship; fostering an environment for the presence of Jesus to do what only He can do.
Gathering and growing together in relationships and community as we pursue falling in love with Jesus Christ.
